This unit is separate from the legal basement suite, ensuring privacy during your stay. You'll enter through a shared front door, which leads to your private entrance. Each suite has their own smart lock. The property is alarmed but will be deactivated for your convenience; a code will be provided just in case. Enjoy complimentary coffee and tea with our regular drip coffee machine, along with a toaster, kettle, and all necessary kitchen utensils. For families, we offer a Pack n Play crib and high chair, making it easy to travel with little ones. KEY POINTS : Communication: Report any issues during your stay for prompt resolution. No refunds will be given for problems raised after check-out. Verification Process: Due to increased fraud, we require verification to ensure a safe experience for everyone. Your information will only be used for screening. Agreement + ID : You’ll need to sign a rental agreement and provide a valid government ID that matches your profile. Security Deposit: A $500 HOLD will be placed on your card 2 days before check-in. This hold covers any potential damage or rule violations. It will be automatically released within 7 days after departure if there are no issues. - You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal. AIRBNB'S POLICY ON SECURITY DEPOSITS : Generally, hosts can’t collect extra fees outside the Airbnb platform unless specifically allowed. The exception is for hotels and software-connected hosts, who can charge fees through separate payment methods if detailed in the listing. We are a software - connected hosts and abide by all of Airbnb rules. I never had to do this with other airbnb listings, why do I need to complete this verification process ?
